The International Encaustic Artists (IEA) supports the growth and advancement of artists at all stages of their careers, and provides opportunities and resources within a global community.
Our Board is made up of volunteers interested in the organizational development of the IEA and carrying out its Mission. Board Members are working artists using encaustic in their work.
IEA Chapters have formed in various geographic regions and continue to form as membership in an area grows. All Chapters share IEA’s Mission and all Chapter members are members of IEA. Chapters meet when and where they choose; their activities are determined by their Chapter members. The activities may include workshops, demonstrations, studio visits, exhibitions, discussions and so on.
IEA offers guidance when putting on exhibitions and a fiscal sponsorship which can be useful in certain situations such as putting on a large exhibition or applying for grants.
