Description: This workshop main goal is for participants to become acquainted and develop the three basic abstract art painting guidelines: Ultra-simplification and reduction of detail, Expressive and/or textural mark-making and Color alteration. The emphasis will be on simplification and constraint, keeping in mind that the fewer cues to objective reality there are, the more abstract we say it is. There will be plenty of time for action-filled painting and personalized attention.

Workshop Requirements and Registration: All In-person workshops will be taught maintaining 6’ social distancing. Class size maximum of six (6) people and three (3) minimum. We request all participants be  vaccinated.
