WhereGeorgia O’ Keefe’s Ghost Ranch located in the land of Big Skies and wide open spaces in Abiquiu, New Mexico.

What will the week look like?

Our itinerary will start with arriving at Ghost Ranch on the 2nd where you will check in by 4:00. Once you are settled into your cabin we will have dinner at 6:00 and a meet and greet reception at 7:30pm. Each day you will have workshops and availability for one on one discussions as well as open studio access to our Private Studio. There are a plethora of options on the grounds to do in between sessions such as spending an afternoon visiting the library, museum, labyrinth, and trails to hike, sketch or photograph. You may also enjoy plein air painting in the wide open space that is good for our body, mind, and soul that will open us up to let the creativity flow!

We will also have an exciting behind the scenes day trip to visit Georgia’s favorite places to paint!

What is included? 

-6 nights shared or private cabin at Ghost Ranch with gorgeous views

Cost- All inclusive workshop, cabin, and meals at Ghost Ranch.

 *Not included: Flight/travel to Ghost Ranch, travelers insurance, food/wine on day trips/purchases on tours, and missed transport costs or fees.

Details: Sante Fe airport is 1 hour, Albuquerque airport is 1 hour 50, and Taos airport is 1 hour and 8 minutes from Abiquiu.

What is there to do at Ghost Ranch?

You can hike, do an archeology tour, or go horseback riding on the 21,000 acre property! There is also canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding at Abiquiu Lake waterfront. There is an anthropology and paleontology museum to explore where you can learn the deep history of the Southwest region. You can visit the labyrinth, zen garden and water wheel where you can take time for reflection, prayer and mindfulness.

Ghost Ranch property is so breathtaking you may never want to leave! If you do want to explore you can visit a lavender farm; the Rio Grande; Chaco Canyon; take a scenic train tour; go fly fishing; tour the Monastery of Christ in the desert etc..

Payment and Cancellation policy

Payment is due upon registration. Refund is available IF you have to cancel and someone on the waiting list can take your spot minus a $100 processing fee. OR you may transfer your payment towards a future workshop of your choosing.
