The Monochrome (India ink) Approach is used as a way for artists to explore and discover new shapes and ideas after hearing words and immediately and intuitively responding on paper (mark-making) with lines, forms and shapes using their emotions. We start the class by providing an overview of the encaustic monotype process. First we cover the monotype process, equipment, tools, paper types, and drawing with encaustic color sticks on the hot plate.  Also covered is the use and of graphite pencils, charcoal and carbon, plus the Health & Safety.

See the Workshop full description at jorgeluisbernal.com. All levels welcome. We follow CDC guidelines, ages 18+, max 6 and min of 3 people per class.
