Katharine Dufault is a New York Times-reviewed artist, curator and visual arts consultant. She has taught multiple workshops and classes in encaustic painting and has recently curated a show of encaustic work for Pelham Arts Center. Dufault regularly exhibits her own work which is included in numerous corporate and private collections. She works in oil paint, encaustic paint and printmaking, and references the landscape and nature in her abstract paintings.
Ms. Dufault graduated with honors from Columbia University, with a degree in painting and literature after studying visual arts, graphic design and photography at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England. Dufault lives and works in Westchester, N.Y. where she is owner/director of State Of The Art - Fine Art Consulting.
Ruta Saliklis has extensive curatorial
experience from her work as Associate Director at the Ball State University
Museum of Art and as curator of Textiles at the Allentown Art Museum. Her most recent publication is an article on
Lithuanian dress in the “Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion”. Other
publications include: “Mary McFadden: High Priestess of High Fashion”,
“Sacred Wood: the Lithuanian Woodcarving Revival” and “Milly Johnstone: Poetry in a Steel Mill”.
Ms. Saliklis received her Ph.D. in Textiles and Design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MFA in Museum Studies from Syracuse University, and a BA in Comprehensive Studio Art with a minor in Art History from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Peter Charles is an Emeritus Professor of Art of Georgetown University where he taught Sculpture and Foundation Design. He is a sculptor, painter, and mixed media artist who has exhibited his work in museums and galleries across the United States, including solo exhibitions at the Huntington Museum, Huntington, WV and the Southeast Center for Contemporary Set in Winston Salem, NC. He is a recipient of of a NEA Endowment of the Arts Fellowship Grant.
Mr. Charles earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Art and Design and MFA from Yale University of Art and Architecture. A native of Washington, DC, he currently lives in San Luis Obispo, CA.
