David Price
IEA member David Price is part of a 2-person exhibit of encaustic paintings at the Conrad Wilde Gallery in
Tuscon, AZ. The exhibit runs from November 1, 2008 to November 29, 2008. Reception Saturday November 1 from
6-9 pm.

Judith A. Williams
IEA member Judith Williams is part of a 2-person exhibit called From Palette to Palate with her encaustic paintings
inspired by Japanese tea bowls at the Kathleen McMahon Fine Art Gallery in San Francisco, CA. The exhibit runs from
October 1, 2008 to November 30, 2008. Reception Friday, October 17 from 6-9 pm.

Susanne K. Arnold
The Virginia Commission for the Arts has awarded an education in the arts grant to Henrico County for Susanne Arnold to
conduct a two week residency at Godwin High School. She will be working with students to produce a mural using the
encaustic medium. Henrico County, VA, is co-sponsor.

Phyllis Lasche and Jimmie Beardsley have been accepted into a juried show (of 650 applicants), at the Bedford Gallery
in the Dean Lesher Performing Arts Center in Walnut Creek, CA. The Opening is Sunday,June 29th, 3:00 to 5:00, and will be
available through August 30th 2008.
