International Encaustic Artists (IEA) is a non-profit professional artists’ organization that seeks to raise the level of excellence in encaustic fine art by providing global information exchange and raising interest about encaustics in the art world and with the general public. Members receive access to on-line information, networking resources, email list for announcements, listing on the IEA website, opportunities to exhibit in members-only shows and retreats and other events not open to the public. Effective in 2007, Signature Membership status will be contingent on having been juried into three IEA sponsored shows. This will entitle members to have an individual profile page with sample photographs of their encaustic work on the IEA website.
