Description: This is IEA's second juried exhibit at MM Galleries which has now
changed its name to Cain Schulte Gallery.
This juried exhibit is not only open to IEA members, but ANY encaustic
artist, even if you are not a member of IEA! Look for the prospectus under
May 31 in the members calendar page.
Come to the opening reception July 11th from 5:30-7:30pm and meet the artists!

Diptych Show: A Collaboration Exhibit
Exhibition Dates: June, 2008 Beverly MA
Location:
Montserrat College of Art
Description: During the Monseratt Encaustic Conference of 2007, members of IEA board got to chatting
with Kim Bernard, President of N.E.W. (New England Wax), an encaustic society with members
mainly residing in Mass and Maine. Out of this conversation, evolved a new and exciting collaboration
bringing together waxers from both coasts in an East Meets West diptych project to occur and travel to
many cities across the country in 2008.
The second exhibit will be at the Montserrat College of Art during the second Annual Conference of
Encaustic Painting in June 2008. More details will follow.
For IEA and N.E.W. members participating in this exciting collaboration, look for
accepts text file under
Aug 30, 2007 in the members only calendar page. To
see which IEA and N.E.W. artists have been paired to create two collaborative diptychs for
exhibit throughout 2008.
